I take requests for the reading, and questions about the procedure, the environment you need, and how it works. Correspondence is available in English or Japanese. I reply within a few days.
Please do not send the following.
- Genomic data itself — VCF, FASTQ, BAM or similar files, or their contents pasted into a message
- Individual genotypes or analysis results
- Information about your health, including symptoms, condition or medication
I do not take custody of genomic data. I also do not assess or advise on matters of health. What this channel is for is discussing and arranging the reading itself.

If you are requesting the reading
Three things, if you can include them, will move the conversation along quickly.
- What format your data is in — FASTQ, VCF or otherwise. If you are not sure, saying so is fine
- Which testing service produced it
- How far you want to take the reading
I will come back with the stages involved and an approximate quote. You will not be asked to send the genomic data itself — not now, and not later.
